What is Crystal Healing?
Crystal healing is an ancient therapy that has been used since the dawn of time. The beauty, brilliance and colour of crystals has drawn people to use them throughout history as talismans and objects of immense beauty.
It is the high and exact vibration rates of crystals that gives them their particular effect on the human energy field and the cellular level of the physical body.
The crystal energy accelerates the body’s natural healing ability and often confers insights into the cause of the problem. On a physical level it can effect change in the chemical structure of the body by helping to rebalance organs and rebuild tissue, reduce pain and inflammation.
Crystal healing can work in a way that is not obvious at first sight, e.g. a person may come with a physical problem, say joint pain, and later report an increase in confidence, general well being and improvement in personal relationships.
What happens during a treatment?
On your first appointment your practitioner will take a detailed history. During the treatment you will be lying down (or sitting) while the practitioner works on your energy field with clear quartz and any other crystals that are required to balance your field.
Usually there will be no contact with the physical body, and the patient is encouraged to relax and receive the healing energy.
What will I feel?
Most people feel a deep sense of relaxation and clam. Some people experience sensations in their body as healing takes place.
Whichever level the energy is working on it can confer a deep state of relaxation and a sense of nurturing and peace.
Although buried emotions and experiences may be released by a treatment, nothing ever comes up that you are not able to cope with.
How long does a treatment take?
The full treatment will last for approximately three quarters of an hour after the initial consultation. The number of treatments required will vary depending on the condition being treated and the therapist will fully discuss any proposed course with you.
